WABASH VALLEY, Ind. (WTHI) - Two Incumbents face-off in the upcoming election after redistricting leaves them campaigning for the same seat.

Democrat Kreg Battles and Republican Bruce Borders both served in the 2012 General Assembly.

But at that time, Battles represented a large part of Knox County, while Borders represented parts of Sullivan, Vigo and Greene counties.

However, this election year, when the districts changed, they found themselves battling for the same seat.

It’s the only case in the state, where 2 Incumbents are running against each other.

Both said it’s an election like they’re never had before.
