BMV extending hours on election day

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - To make sure you're ready to vote the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is extending its hours.

Vigo County's branch will open Monday November 5 at 8:30 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.

On election day: Tuesday November 6, it will open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m.

Bureau workers will issue photo ID cards and driver's licenses that might be needed for identification at polling places.
