TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) -

With temperatures and energy use on the rise, one energy company is touting its programs to conserve energy among large companies and family homes.

Under Duke Energy’s Power Share program, some large companies agree to dial back their power use on days of peak energy use. In turn, the companies receive a discount on their energy bills.

The company has a similar program for homes, known as Power Management. Under that program, customers allow the company to control their thermostat by remote control on days that require energy conservation. In turn, those customers also receive a discount on their energy bills.

To learn more about those programs, click here .
