Ross Rowling joined News 10 in September 2010 as a Sports Reporter and Weekend Sports Anchor.
Ross is very excited to come to Indiana because of the wide variety of sports the Wabash Valley has to offer.
He especially loves the passion fans show in support of their local high schools.
Ross is from Jerseyville, Illinois. He came to WTHI-TV from KMOV-TV in St. Louis, where he was working as a broadcast assistant.
His sports background comes from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
All four years he was in Carbondale, Ross worked for WSIU-TV.
He served as the station’s Sports Director for his last three semesters.
Ross participated in many award winning shows at WSIU-TV, including Saluki Sportsview and the River Region Evening Edition.
While at SIU he got to cover Saluki basketball against Duke at Madison Square Garden and that was exciting, but also enjoyed the energy in small high school gyms throughout southern Illinois and expects to see similar excitement from high school fans across the Wabash Valley.
In his spare time Ross likes watching or talking about sports, trying to cook or going to a game. He is a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Ross is a storyteller and would love to tell your story. He would like to hear from you. You can e-mail him at
