Matt Gregory

Matt Gregory joined the News 10 team in March 2011. He works as a multi-platform journalist shooting and reporting his own stories.

Matt is originally from the east coast and grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated in 2008 with a degree in political science. During college he worked as a sports producer at WBAL-TV in Baltimore, Maryland.

At WBAL, he took advantage of every opportunity possible to get his hands on reporting. When he wasn’t sports producing, Matt worked on the news assignment desk. As a news assistant he found his enthusiasm for following and reporting the news. While he likes to delve into sports on the occasion, his primary interest is bringing out the best stories of local and national news.

When not chasing down leads in the Wabash Valley, you can find him reading (history mostly), shooting hoops, golfing, and at a sports event (depending on the season). But, when it comes to sports, he has to root for his Maryland teams (Orioles, Ravens, Capitals, Terps). Even if they are incredibly disappointing, case in point, the Orioles.
