The Terre Haute Children's Museum is taking learning to new heights. The two-story ropes challenge course is opening Tuesday.

opening today! we're talking about the "ropes challenge course" at the children's museum. you and your family -- can try the exhibit in just a few hours. news 10's kiley thomas is getting an inside look this morning. she joins us live -- to show us the action! //////////// the museum has been shut down for weeks. that's so workers could assemble this masterpiece. there are several different ropes courses -- and even a zipline! later this morning -- the challenge course will be open to the public. if just now joining us -- we tried out the "name" in our last half hour. now -- let's hit the zipline. project cost "600-thousand" dollars to build. the majority of that money came from donations. museum is expecting "number visitors". ???? children who are at least "4" feet tall can go on the course by themselves. chilren who are shorter than that -- must have an adult with them. it's "3" dollars for members and "7" dollars extra with a ticket for non members. unlimited for the day! dangerously hot conditions -- taking learning to new heights! their "2-story" ropes course is opening today. it's integrating science -- fitness and fun for the entire family. news 10's kiley thomas is live inside the museum this morning to show you what to expect. this ropes course is not messing around! exhibit is truly in air. this second level -- is 20 feet high. i have my harness on and ready to hit the course. children who are at least "4" feet tall can go on the course by themselves. chilren who are shorter than that -- must have an adult with them. it's "3" dollars for members and "7" dollars extra with a ticket for non members. unlimited for the day! project cost "600-thousand" dollars to build. the majority of that money came from donations. museum is expecting "number visitors". ???? mainly sunny hot and steamy again today - a high at 91. it scattered showers and storms are possible around the drive home. better chances show up right around dark. lows tonight drop to 71. scattered showers and storms likely again tomorrow, a high at 87. again
