encourage more reading in the community. the sisters of providence held their annual winter book sale today at linden leaf gifts. but it's not your typical book sale. all books are donated throughout the year by people in the community. the books themselves are not priced -- instead -- you pay with a free will donation. "the generosity of the community is what drives the book sale and it gives the opportunity for learning and reading. especially in these winter months when you're just kinda hanging out inside with nothing to do." the sale is also a way to "recycle" books. sisters of providence says after you read a book from the sale -- you can donate it back to the event. mardi gras comes to clay county! the celebration is part
