List of upcoming road closures in Terre Haute

The city of Terre Haute has released a list of road closures from March through October for events going on in the city.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The city of Terre Haute has released a list of road closures from March through October for events going on in the city.

- March 15th - The intersection of 19th and Poplar will be closed on March 15th from 8:00 a.m. until Noon for painting of the Shamrock.

- March 16th - March 17th - 14th Street from Wabash north to the alley behind Sonka Irish Pub will be closed from Noon on March 16th until Midnight on March 17th for St. Patrick's Day Celebration.

- March 17th - Ohio at Corporate Square west to 19th Street and 19th Street between Ohio and Oak will be closed on March 17th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for St. Patrick's Day Parade.

- March 17th - East bound Ohio from 19th to Fruitridge (north side only) and 19th Street from Oak to Ohio will be closed on March 17th from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for Irish Dash.

- March 24th - 9th Street from Walnut to Ohio will be closed on March 24th from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for Palm Sunday Mass.

- March 25th - 9th Street from Walnut to Ohio will be closed on March 25th from 8:00 a.m. until Noon for Palm Sunday Mass.

- March 31st - 9th Street from Walnut to Ohio will be closed on March 31st from 8:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. for Easter Vigil Celebration.

- April 1st - Intersection of 8th and Cherry will be closed on April 1st for painting of logo on street for Children's Bureau.

- April 7th - Eagle Street from 8th to 9th and 9th Street from Cherry to Chestnut (Cherry Street will remain open all day) will be closed on April 7th for State Finals for Indiana Percussion Association.

- April 12th -Eagle Street between 7th and 9th (8th Street will be open at all times) will be closed April 12th from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for Annual Children's Concert at Hulman Center.

- April 28th - Wabash Avenue from 6th to 7th will be closed April 28th from 4:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. for Spring Music Festival.

- May 4th - College Avenue from 25th Street to Brown Avenue will be closed May 4th from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for One Mile Healthy Hearts Fun Run.

- June 1st - 8th and 9th Street from Cherry to Spruce, Spruce from 8th to 9th, and Cherry from 8th to 9th will be closed on June 1st from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for Chamber of Commerce Run.

- June 9th - Locust Street from 25th to 34th will be closed on June 9th from 7:30 a.m. until Noon for Union Hospital Wellness Committee 5k Run.

- July 11th - July 15th - 9th Street from Walnut to Ohio and 9 1/2 Street from Walnut to Ohio will be closed on July 11th at 5:00 p.m. until July 15th at Noon for St. Benedict Church Annual Parish Community Festival.

- September 14th - September 16th - Wabash Avenue between 6th and 8th and 7th Street from the alley just north and south of Wabash Avenue will be closed September 14th at 7:00 a.m. until September 16th at 4:00 a.m. for Blues at the Crossroads Festival.

- October 6 - Ohio Blvd between 25th and Fruitridge, Brown between Poplar and West Hudson, and 25th at Mariposa will be closed on October 6th from 8:00 a.m. until Noon for the Race for the Cure.
