Vacant house in West Terre Haute destroyed by overnight fire

Sugar Creek Fire Department reports the home was vacant at the time of the fire. Investigators will be on scene Friday afternoon looking into the cause of the fire.

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A fire destroyed a Vigo County home.

It happened at around 3:15 Friday morning at 601 West Paris Avenue in West Terre Haute.

Firefighters found heavy flames shooting from all sides of the home.

Sugar Creek Fire Department reports the home was vacant at the time of the fire. Investigators will be on scene Friday afternoon looking into the cause of the fire.
